Notice strengths & weaknesses

Take time and analyze each one of your employee’s strengths and weaknesses. Where one may excel, the other may need room for improvement. Pairing these employees allows them to learn from eachother and is the perfect ingredient to a successful team. Also, as a business owner, don't forget to give credit where credit is due. It will not only motivate an employee personally, but it may also reprise their pride in the company.

One BIG successful team

Provide your employees a great reputation to live up to. For example, one of your employees is a very talented, organized, running a press machine and you enjoy their work ethic. Next time a prospective client or current customer visits your business, make a point to introduce that certain employee. Doing so shows that employee they are a major contributor to the company. Compliments are always warmly accepted.

Have some fun

There should be a certain day of the week to look forward to other than Fridays between management and employees. One company for example, once a week held a raffle in which every employee contributed a dollar and their name on a piece of paper. At lunch time the winning name was drawn. Of course this would only apply to a small company. Or be creative and raffle off the owner’s parking spot for one day of the week. There are many ideas to consider.

So what do these examples have to do with gaining customers? Helping your employees succeed and recognize their value will raise their level of performance. Having fun at work and being able to produce is an owner’s dream. Customers and prospective clients will take notice of your company’s perception and devotion. Your workforce everyday will perform beyond the call of duty. Work ethics will be priceless and in return, your customers will receive a quality product/service. This is a successful plan that will not disappoint you.
