The Medical Society of the State of New York
The Medical Society of the State of New York is a statewide system of continuing medical education for physicians to assure they practice the highest quality of medical care. Its CME Committee monitors the educational activities of 50+ medical institutions and associations in New York State, enabling them to present the highest quality CME oriented toward performance improvement in clinical care. When they came to EO they were looking for a way to display their continuing medical education courses online. They wanted the courses to be user-friendly and include an online test that would be filled out and submitted upon completion.
What EO did for The Medical Society
Understanding the importance of this system, it was vital we created a clean and simple design that reflected the professionalism and sophistication that the Medical Society portrays. We designed a system that is easy to navigate, control and use. A course library page was created, which has an overview of the courses that are available. Once inside, the pages outline the information, and include an audio speaker for each course that follows along with the content. All the pages have an option to navigate forward or backward throughout the site. At the end of the course there is a short online test and the answers are sent to the Medical Society for review.
